Description

A little slice of Apple Pie heaven in smoothie form – YUM


Ingredients

  • 1 (sweet) apple (ca. 130 g/ 4.6 oz)
  • 1 (dried) date
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower (ca. 6070 g/ 2.3 oz)
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp macadamia nut butter*
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)*
  • 12 g ginger (0.030.07 oz)
  • 1 cup (plant based) milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp collagen (optional)*

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender
  2. Blend till you have a silky smooth smoothie.
  3. Pour into a tall glass, add a festive straw if you like and just sit back and enjoy 😉

Notes

  • I like to use macadamia nut butter, you can use any tolerated nut butter or tigernut butter for a nut free version.
  • Cinnamon is high in benzoates, and if you are sensitive to that it can trigger the release of histamine. If you don’t tolerate cinnamon just leave it out.
  • Collagen is great for gut health, but not tolerated by everyone. If you don’t tolerate it just leave it out.
